MY STORY

Why Confident Mind Scholars?

My name is Thanu Yogeswaran, and I hold a Master's in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College London (MEng).

Since graduating, I have held numerous roles with McKinsey in Strategy Consulting and more recently at an EdTech start-up, focusing on helping young people realize their potential.

With over 7 years of experience, I have tutored students in Maths and Science at GCSE and A-level across a range of abilities, backgrounds, and special needs.

I have a strong track record of helping students achieve the top grades using an approach which focuses on habit formation, science-backed learning techniques and tailored support

I'm deeply familiar with various exam boards, including AQA, OCR, and Edexcel, and have guided many students towards successful careers in medicine, dentistry, and engineering at prestigious Russell Group universities.

In my recent role at EdTech start-ups and Causeway Education, I have learned first-hand that education has transformative power, especially for those from less fortunate backgrounds.

My teaching approach focuses on creating a positive and welcoming learning environment to help students build their confidence and develop a mindset for success that extends beyond their studies
